Amy has held the position of Artistic Director of Dancer's Dreams Performing Arts Academy in Christiansburg, Virginia, since 1991. She has instructed Pre-School dance, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop Jazz, Cheerleading, Modeling, and all levels of Clogging for 25 years.

She is a graduate of Floyd Ward School of Dance and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts-Steward University.

Amy has produced DDPAA videos/DVDs for 16 years and videos for instructional and demonstration purposes with her professional performing teams.

Amy has studied under Ballet Master Michael Simms at Stephen's College-Columbia, Missouri ,  Murphy & Serrano- Jasper, Alabama, Virginia Tech Performing Arts- Blacksburg, Virginia,  Nettles Academy of Dance- Andalusia, Alabama, Columbia Ballet Academy- Columbia, Missouri,
Dorothy Rainer Sellers School of Dance- Opp, Alabama.

AmyAmy is a former member of the Columbia, Missouri Performing Team the "Sho-Me Cloggers" and has performed on the television show the "Ozark Opry".
 
She is former director, choreographer and dancer/cheerleader for the Roanoke Rush National Minor League Football Team and for the Roanoke Express Minor League Hockey Team- Advanced Auto Cheer & Dance Team-Roanoke, Virginia.  As a cheerleader for the Roanoke Rush she was the "March" model for the 1996 team calendar. 

College courses lead her to opportunities of modeling for Sears, Brides Of Virginia, Merry-Go-Round, Elite Salon, and later for Virginia designer Robert Fredrick.

During her studies she earned a MCVS Certificate in Advanced Marketing and Fashion Merchandising.

Amelia's outstanding dance performances include: Dolphin Cruise Lines-Bahamas , Disney World-Orlando, Florida  Carnival Cruise Lines- Jamaica, Mexico, Bahamas  Circus,Circus- Las Vegas, Nevada,  Premier Cruise Lines-Bahamas, Royal Caribbean- Mexico, Virginia Tech Basketball- Half Time Shows,  and Radford University Basketball- Half Time Shows.   Amy has successfully directed the award winning Performing Team the "Confederate Cloggers" since 1989. They have opened for such big names as "The Statler Brothers" and "Shenandoah". Amy has been honored to contract performances for the Chinese, Taiwanese, Indonesian and Russian Delegations to the United States visiting Virginia.
 
Amy is a former
Ms American Clogger, Ms Virginia Professional Woman,
and Ms Virginia American Royalty.  She is the Director of the "Imperial Dreams" Talent Pageant for charity. This is a charity pageant Amy has produced annually for 17 years.  Amy's choreography at national dance competitions such as Rising Star, I Love Dance, Paula Abdul's Company Dance, and Paramount's Dancefest, have brought home many top awards through the years. Amy owned and operated a second studio location in Rogersville, Tennessee from 2002-2006, where all dance styles were taught and recital productions held annually.
  
Amy currently directs and performs with her professional clogging show team, the "Dixie Dream Dancers".  The "Dixie Dream Dancers" have opened for ". 38 Special" in Knoxville, TN and were under contract with Road Shows-Reno, Nevada 7 years.
